Summer Sewing Camps
Summer sewing camps are a great way to keep creative kiddos engaged throughout the summer! There is no sewing experience necessary for the Beginning Sewing camp, but all other camps require familiarity with the sewing machine. Students who take the Beginning Sewing camp will then be ready to do the projects found in the other camps that we offer.Each camp runs from 9-12, Tuesday through Friday, and it's the perfect activity for kids ages 9+! Learn all the basics about the sewing machine and the tools you'll need for any sewing project! In this camp students will complete several projects throughout the week to practice skills like sewing a straight seam, pressing, hand sewing, etc.
Each student will make a quilted pillow and journal cover by the end of the camp on Friday.

Pajama Party

Creative kiddos who are interested in learning how to make garments will love this camp! We will be making pajama shorts and a matching pillowcase during our time together. Remember that students should be comfortable using the sewing machine in order to attend this camp.
Students will learn about fabric, how to read a garment pattern, and how to choose the right size garment to make. They will cut, sew and finish their pajama shorts and matching pillowcase before the end of the week!

Come and sew a cute zipper bag and tote bag with us! Keep in mind students who attend this camp should be comfortable using the sewing machine.
During the week we will work on reading patterns, organization, working with zippers and different stabilizing materials. There's a lot to do, but by the end of the week, all students will have some fun bags of their own!
